Background:
Initially an importer of various different access control products, in 1992 the directors of the company decided to develop their own system of access control, directly in response to needs in the marketplace. In particular it was decided to develop a low-cost controller that could utilise the revolutionary Dallas Semiconductor touch memory technology.

As time has gone by the controllers manufactured by the company has been enhanced to support a wide range of reader technologies. CS Technologies has an ongoing research and development programme and is constantly working to enhance its products to meet the needs of its customers.

The company has been the recipient of security industry awards and members of staff are involved with development of Australian Standards for access control.

CS Technologies was one of only thirty-seven companies in New South Wales to achieve recognition under the Australian Technology Showcase. The Australian Technology Showcase is one of the main business initiatives under the Australian Government's Sydney 2000 Business Initiatives program.

Currently a quality assurance program is being undertaken to ensure that its products and services are consistently maintained at a high level.
